Browse Apps Page Improvements

Now admins can manage menus easier from the Browse Apps page. Simply click the “…” icon next to any Submenu to rename it, re-order Apps within it, or even Add an App.

Don’t see the menu section title? Ensure ‘All Apps’ and other menus like ‘Activities’ have ‘Yes’ for both ‘Show Name’ and ‘Apps Container’ by going to Settings / Advanced / Menus and editing as below:

Dedicated Login Page

Now enterprise customers can setup a dedicated login page for their organization!

The dedicated login page uses a company ‘shortname’ admins define in the Company Settings page. It also enforces your login options, simplifying the login experience for the whole team.

Easier Menu Navigation

Now you can use access your App’s menu items + all your favorites for that App from the current view title.

New Number Widget for Dashboards

Now you can use a shiny new Number Widget on your Dashboards and Dashlets. Reports never looked better!

Improved Dashboard Toolbar, Add to Menu

Admins can now add dashboards to menus more quickly by linking them to a “Primary App”. The toolbar on a dashboard page is simpler too, with one-click Save and other minor usability improvements for frequently used actions.

QuickBooks Online Integration

Now QuickBooks Online customers can connect FreeAgent and QuickBooks – improving customer data management & streamlining the process of invoicing customers and tracking payment. 
 
Using the integration, admins can easily sync QuickBooks Customers to FreeAgent Accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer data across both systems. In addition, admins can sync QuickBooks Invoices into FreeAgent, providing visibility to invoiced amounts and payment status to the extended team. And you can go even further too – utilizing the integration to create QuickBooks Invoices straight from FreeAgent, eliminating manual entry by finance, improving invoice accuracy, and speeding up the invoicing process. Wow!
 

Introducing FreeAgent Webforms

Now admins can deploy beautiful webforms straight from FreeAgent: to capture important information from prospects and customers with ease. 

Say goodbye to deploying webforms through various providers like Google Forms, JotForm, or Cognito Forms, only to grapple with connecting them to a Google sheet, setting up zaps in Zapier, and meticulously mapping fields to the CRM. (And then crossing your fingers that everything remains working.)
 
Instead admins can now create a beautiful webform directly in FreeAgent. Here’s an example 😍
Admins can build out fields using the very easy-to-use Form Builder, manage all their Publish Settings, see all previously submitted entries from an Inbox as well.
When editing Publish Settings admins can map webform fields directly to a FreeAgent app using Flip-to-App. No more integration hassle! Webform data flows easily and reliably straight into the CRM.

New Self-Service Support Portal

Now authorized admins can utilize a new self-service support portal to log support issues, check issue status, and provide supplemental support information to the FreeAgent team. Once authorized, admins will see a new option under their profile menu:

Upon clicking, admins will see a new browser window open where a portal session will be initiated where they can see all their support issues.

They can log a new issue easily by clicking the “New Issue” button.

As FreeAgent support personnel work the ticket, admins see each update directly on the ticket, including resolution information.

In addition, a future update will add real-time notifications to an admin’s phone or email so they know about changes to issue status immediately.
 

Last but certainly not least, this new Support Portal is also available for your organization to use with your customers. It’s configurable, fast, and easy! Be sure to reach out for more information, and expect future updates on this part of the FreeAgent platform over the coming month.

Slack Integration

Wow! There’s a super easy new Slack integration. Admins can use it to automate sending all kinds of alerts to Slack. Head on over to the automation builder, select an App and the conditions, and add the action “Slack Alert.” Pick the channel, specify the “message blocks” (Slack’s API standard) and off you go!

Need some ideas on what to Slack? Use it for New Leads, Closed-Won Deals, celebrating Contract Signatures, and more.
 
The Slack integration can be activated and authorized by going to Settings/Integrations/Slack.

Phone Numbers, Emails

Now phone numbers will always be stored in the International Phone Number format standard. In the US, entering ‘6505551212 x123’, or ‘650.555.1212’ will result in the following being stored and displayed:

In addition, all emails are now stored lowercase. So entering ‘MyEmail@Gmail.com’ will result in myemail@gmail.com being stored and displayed.

Support Portal Email Notifications

Now authorized admins using the FreeAgent Support Portal will receive Email Notifications when their issues have new updates, including status changes or new notes.

Email Open/Click 'Bot' Suppression

Now open and click tracking for FreeAgent-sent email will automatically suppress opens & clicks associated with known ‘bots’ such as crawlers, spambots, virus checkers, and other non-human sources.

Improved Bulk Editing

Previously, bulk edits were made in a “transaction”, meaning no changes were applied until the whole record-set was ready. This caused delays & general uncertainty when performing larger bulk edits. However, we have now removed this transactional approach.

Bulk edits will now be applied record-by-record in real-time, allowing you to see the updates progress as they happen. Subsequent operations, such as automations, will start sooner, allowing your work to complete much faster.

Email Template Analytics

Now you can track the effectiveness of all your Email Templates. First, make sure you select “Track Effectiveness” when creating your Email Template. This cannot be changed later!

Then as your team uses the Email Template the system will automatically aggregate opens and clicks from your individual emails to the template.

Select ‘View Effectiveness Report’ to view a handy report on how the Email Template is performing.

Fast, Personalized Bulk Emailing via Email Campaigns

Our new Email Campaigns are designed to boost your email marketing efforts. They use FreeAgent’s seamless integration with SendGrid. Use Email Campaigns to send personalized bulk email quickly, optimize delivery, and gain valuable insights into your email campaign effectiveness. Some email marketing tools now have delivery rates below 50%, while SendGrid boasts above 85%. That makes a huge difference.
