At FreeAgent, we’ve been working hard to deliver new enhancements to help you crush your goals in 2024! 

Introducing Filter Groups

Now you can use filter groups to build more powerful filters into your reports. Filter groups allow you to, well, group your filters, so you can do stuff like this:
 
1- Show me all deals in Stage = Closed Won that closed Last Quarter or This Quarter
(Stage is Closed Won) AND (Close Date period This Quarter OR Close Date period Last Quarter)
 
2- Show me all Accounts where the status is active, the industry is telco, and Last Yr Sales > $500K or Sales YTD > $100K
(Status is Active AND Industry is Telco) AND (Last Yr Sales > $500K OR Sales YTD > $100K)

Easily Share Activities Across Apps

Sharing is caring! Now share activities like Emails, Phone Calls, Notes, and Tasks across all the App records you need.

Don’t see the UI above? Ask your admin to flip the switch to “Use Latest UI” and you’ll be all set!

Color Cards by Choice List

Now admins can color code Cards by Choice List colors!

The colors will show on the card everywhere the card is displayed, even on your Detailed Pages:

Setup is so easy. Admins just navigate to App Setup, Card Configuration, and set the “Color Card By” option with a choice list. The colors will come from the colors set on each choice list value. 😍

Flip to Task!

Now you can add a followup task from a Notification. Just click the “Task” button and the information from the notification will default into the Add Task screen. Set a due date and off you go! We hope you love this productivity booster. 🚀

Don’t see the “Task” button under each of your notifications? Ask your admin to “Use latest UI” to activate this and many other new features.

Improvements to Global Search

Now search includes Dashboards so you can find them easier. They will show up in the Reporting section of the menu.

In addition, admins can manage the global search preferences for their entire team. Just use the gear that appears for Admins in the menu’s search box Even include all Activities in global search if needed.

Rewrite with AI

Now you can quickly rewrite an email you’re composing with AI. Just click “Rewrite with AI” and FreeAgent CRM will re-write your email to make it even more professional, clear, and succinct. Don’t like the changes? Just click “Undo Changes” to revert to the original.

View Attachments Inline

Now when you click on Attachments you can view them without downloading them onto your desktop. Still want to download them? Click the download icon in the upper right.

Formulas for Calculated Fields

Now admins can save hours by using Formulas instead of Scripts to calculate field values. Data type conversion, null handling and more are all handled automatically. Here’s an example for calculating Net Price:

You can use a SUM function to aggregate data across Lines for apps with lines too. Here’s an example of how to calculate a List Total:

Duplicate Prevention

Now admins can configure duplicate prevention rules for create and update events across all Apps including Contacts and Accounts. 
 
Just configure the duplicate prevention matching conditions when configuring the App by clicking the Duplicate Prevention tab.

Better Choice List Management

Admins now have a brand new way to manage choice lists. Wow, what a difference. Use field edit to quickly change a label, a color, or an icon assignment. Export the full choice list to a spreadsheet. Use filter and search to narrow in on just the values you need to admin. Delete and deactivate choices in bulk. Huge time saver.

Dot-Walking for References in Activity Reporting

Dot-walking for ‘references’ (a reference multi-select field) across all activity apps is now available, enhancing your ability to create detailed and insightful activity reports.
 
Feature Highlights:
 
Integrated Data Access: Easily navigate between referenced records like contacts and accounts directly in your activity reports (email, task, phone, and more), bringing comprehensive data insights into a single view.
 
Advanced Segmentation: Analyze activities by various segmentation fields from related records, such as ‘references.contact.lead source’ or ‘references.account.industry’, to discover which activities and segments yield the best results.
 
Customized Reporting: Utilize this new capability to tailor your analyses and gain deeper insights.
 
How it works: Use dot-walked reference fields in sort operations, in filter, even in group functions for your reports.

New 'Alert' Exception Reporting

We are excited to introduce our latest feature, Exception Alerts, designed to help you manage by exception and follow-up on overdue actions automatically. This feature allows you to trigger automations directly from a scheduled ‘Alert’ report, ensuring that your organization stays proactive and responsive to critical business events.
 
Key Features:
 
Automated Actions: Set up reports to automatically trigger automations that perform actions such as sending emails, creating tasks and reminders, issuing notifications, and more, whenever records meet your predefined conditions.
 
Flexible Scheduling: Schedule these reports to run at regular intervals – daily, weekly, or on any other schedule that suits your needs.
 
Proactive Management: Use this new capability to stay ahead of potential issues with alerts that notify you about important events or inactions, such as:
  • No follow-up on new leads within 24 hours
  • No account interactions in the last 30 days
  • No deal activity within a specified number of days for deals that are forecasted to close this quarter
  • No response on issued quotes within 5 days
How It Works: Simply schedule an ‘Alert’ report from any view and whenever it runs, for each matching record, it will trigger the specified automation. This seamless integration between reporting and automated actions helps ensure that nothing slips through the cracks, allowing your team to focus on what they do best.

AI Scoring for Deals and Tickets - BETA

Admins can now enable Deal and Ticket Scoring via AI. Interested in being a design partner for this BETA feature? Contact us via the Support Portal to learn more.

Deal and ticket scoring require your organization to have previously enabled “Use Latest UI” under Company Settings. Then just check the checkbox for Deal and/or Ticket scoring from the OpenAI integration setup page.
