Servis.ai allows you to quickly edit multiple records at once using the List View of any app. This is especially useful when making changes across many entries—saving time and ensuring consistency.
How to Access Bulk Edit
- Open the App
- Navigate to the app containing the records you want to update (e.g., the Contacts App).
- Switch to List View
- Use List View to display your records in a table format.
- Select the Records
- Check the box next to each record to select them individually.
- To select the first 50 records, click the top checkbox.
- A selection banner will display how many records are selected.
- To select all records, click “Select all X records.”
Edit the Fields
In the Edit window, you will see a simple yet intuitive interface with five main areas to focus on.
Fast Update Mode
Enable Fast Update Mode to speed up the bulk editing process. When this option is enabled, the system will skip:
- Automations
- Calculations
- Text indexing
- Audit logging
This mode is ideal when you need to apply large updates quickly and do not require these processes to run.
This option is available to Admins only.
Note: Use this option only when data integrity will not be affected.
Field
Use the Field dropdown to select the field you want to update. The available fields depend on the app you are currently using.
The available options will vary depending on the selected Field Type. For more details, refer to the Field Types section.
Update Type
The options available in this section depend on the selected Field Type. Below are the possible actions:
- Replace: Overwrites existing values with new input.
- Add: Adds new values alongside existing ones.
- Remove: Deletes only specified values.
- Clear: Removes all values from the field.
Fast Update Mode and Update Types
Users who are not Admins will only have access to the Replace update type.
To enable additional update types—such as Add, Clear, and Remove—the user must:
- Have Admin permissions
- Enable Fast Update Mode
This ensures that advanced bulk editing actions are restricted to authorized users.
Value
In this section, you define the new value to add or use to replace existing data. The available options will vary based on the Field Type.
Note: If you select Clear, the Value field will be disabled because no input is required.
+ Add Field
Use the + Add Field option to include additional fields in the same bulk edit. This allows you to update multiple fields in a single operation.
Field Types
When performing a bulk edit, it’s important to understand the type of fields you’re modifying, as the available actions depend on the field type.
There are two main categories:
Multi Value-Type Fields
Includes: Multi Reference, Multi Choice, and similar field types.
Available actions:
- Add: Adds new values to existing ones.
- Clear: Removes all existing values, leaving the field blank.
- Replace: Overwrites existing values with new ones.
- Remove: Deletes specific values from the field.
Single Value-Type Fields
Includes: Reference, Choice, and other single-value field types.
Available actions:
- Replace: Overwrites the existing value.
- Clear: Removes the current value, leaving the field blank.
Before applying bulk edits, it’s important to confirm the type of field you’re updating.
To check a field’s type:
- Go to Settings > Apps > [Selected App] > Form Fields.
- You’ll see a list of all fields available in the app—these are the same fields available for editing.
- In the Type column, you can identify whether a field is single-value or multi-value.
For example, in the Contacts App, the field Subscribers is listed as a Reference Multi Select, meaning it accepts multiple values.

Save the Changes
- Click the “Save” button when finished.
- A confirmation message will appear.
- The List View will refresh automatically.
Note: The update process may take a few seconds depending on the number of records.
