Updating Records & Viewing Change Logs

In this article:

Servis.ai gathers customer data through workflows, integrations, and manual updates. Once the data is imported, users can begin managing and modifying it as needed.

Let’s get started!

Edit

To update the information in any record, navigate to the top right and click ‘Edit’.

We can now adjust the ‘Stages’, set the Records ‘Owner’, change ‘Contact Information’, or adjust any other details. 

Fields

Certain fields in Servis.ai are non-editable because they are:

  • Restricted by admin settings
  • Controlled by form rules
  • Automatically calculated by the system

Examples include ‘Number of Interactions’ and ‘Creation Date’.

Timeline

After saving, records in Servis.ai are instantly updated and reflected throughout the platform. These changes are accessible in related lists and visualized in Charts, Dashlets, and Dashboards.

To update an event in the Timeline, hover over the event’s top-right corner, click the three-dot icon (…), and select ‘Navigate to Record’.

This will take you to the source record where you can add to, and update the record with the changes reflected back to the original record Timeline.

Only users who have a role that allows them to edit activities will be able to make changes to the Timeline events.

Event Logs

Servis.ai maintains comprehensive change logs for activities within its apps and related tasks. These logs help monitor who made changes and when.

Access the change logs via Settings > Advanced > Events. Logs are categorized as follows:

  • Event Logs
  • Tasks
  • Emails
  • Meetings
  • Phone Calls
  • SMS
  • Notes
  • Attachments

Reviewing these logs ensures transparency and effective tracking of all updates.

Within Servis.ai’s ‘Event Logs’ app, users can review past record modifications, including:

  • Activity type
  • Associated message (if applicable)
  • Source app
  • Source record
  • Date and time of the event
  • User who made the change
