Create Record Action lets you automatically generate a new record with precise control over which fields are filled out. You can define the relationship between this new record and the one that triggers the automation, ensuring everything stays connected. Customize only the fields that matter most, keeping your automations efficient and focused.

How to Set Up the Create Record Action

Name: Select a name to identify the action.

App: Select the app on which the record will be created.

Set Fields: In here you will specify the values for the fields that will be created, you can place as many as you want, but we recommend to place only the ones you truly need:

•  Field: Select from the dropdown the field that will be created for the new record
•  Set From:Here you have two modes:
  •  Static Value: This mode lets you select from the list configured for that field on the App’s Settings. 

• •  Triggering Record: This only lets you select the value that the triggering record also has for the same field.
