FreeAgent CRM offers the feature of calling your contacts directly from the application, but what happens when you called a contact from outside FreeAgent CRM, using your landline for example. For those cases, we recommend logging your call manually.
Log Calls
Go to the Contacts app, search for the Contact or client you want to register the call for. There click the 3 dots icon on the Tasks related list and click ‘Add Task’. Select ‘Phone’ as the type and fill in the Task details. Change the Status to ‘Done’, and add the Completed Date.
Your Task will be added to the Activity Timeline. If you click on it you can review all the notes you added for the Call. You can also see the Completed task on your Tasks App and under the Related List for Tasks for that Contact.
Note: Since there wasn’t an actual call made within FreeAgent CRM, the information is not going to include its duration.
