This donut and pie charts are quite similar as they are used to show the distribution of the values. The main difference comes from its visual aspect. One shows the values as pieces of a donut and the other as slices of a pie.
Usage Example
You can use these charts to visualize the pipeline by owner. This way you will be able to tell immediately who your top players are.

6. Format
Show Top N:This option allows you to limit your chart to only display the top results—such as the top 3, 5, or 10 records. It’s useful for focusing on the most relevant data.
Default Format: This setting controls how each record appears on your chart:
- Checked: Displays only the value of each record (e.g., quantity or percentage), without showing the record ID.
- Unchecked: Shows both the value and the corresponding record ID side by side.
Show Values: This setting controls how each record appears on your chart:
- When Default Format is checked:
- Checked: Displays only the value for each section.
- Unchecked: Displays only the record ID.
- When Default Format is unchecked:
- Checked: Displays both the value and the record ID.
- Unchecked: Displays only the record ID.
Number Prefix: This optional field allows you to add a symbol or string before the numeric values shown in the chart (e.g., $
, #
, or any custom text).
Format Large Values: When enabled, this setting abbreviates large numbers to improve readability. For example, 1,200 becomes 1.2K, and 1,000,000 becomes 1M. It ensures your chart remains clean and easy to interpret when dealing with large data values.
Show % Values: When enabled, this setting adds the percentage each section of the chart represents relative to the total.
Value Position: This dropdown lets you control where the value labels are displayed on the chart.
- Inside: Shows the labels inside each segment of the chart.
- Outside: Displays the labels outside the chart segments, connected by lines.
Choose the option that best enhances the chart’s legibility based on the amount of space and data displayed.
